A Simple Daisy will donate 10% of our net proceeds from the sale of all t-shirts from our Find A Cure category to Susan G. Komen for the Cure/North Jersey

Find a Cure
For the past three years, Matty and I have walked side by side with our close friends Meera and Milind in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in New York City. For two days we walk 39 miles raising awareness and money with 5,000 other walkers for breast cancer. We will continue to walk every year so that our daughter Lucia doesn’t have to in the future.

Did you know that ladybugs eat the “bad insects?”
Ladybugs are an organic alternative to using pesticides in farming and gardening.

CANDO CHALLENGE BY ILIR BITICI OF FIORINO RISTORANTE

Three challenging each other in weight loss competition including Ilir "Lalo" Bitici of Fiorino Ristorante

In an effort to promote healthy living while raising awareness and funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure North Jersey, I am challenging myself in a competition rivaling two of my friends to a strict four Month lifestyle change. It’s a minimum of five days per week of intense physical training and full time nutrition regimen planned and supervised by Personal training manager at CANDO Fitness in Short Hills, NJ, Tamer Ibrahim.

All services provided to the contestants including personal training is sponsored by CANDO Fitness.
The next four months will be a public ordeal televised on local TV36 as part of a reality show Sponsored by CANDO Fitness and we’d like to secure more sponsors.

I hope to raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure by having donors pledge a per pound donation. I expect to lose up to 50 pounds. I will keep you posted on how to make your pledges. Tune into Comcast channel 36 and Verizon Channel 33 to watch ”Martini’s with McDermott presents the Can Do Challenge” show. Your support is much appreciated.
